Actually a liberal filmmaker named Bobcat Goldthwait made a liberal violent comedy named God Bless America where a suicidal man (played by a lib who agreed with the character's views according to his own commentary track on the DVD) teams up with a liberal gal (played by a lib who likewise agreed).

In God Bless America, the protagonist shoots up a movie theater (for people talking, texting, etc.) and then proceeds to take on stand ins for Glen Beck, the Tea Party, and Democrat Fred Phelps and well as a pseudo (Fox) American Idol program.
