Actually, that's incorrect. They pay 13% because most of their income is capital gains, taxed at 15%. I think that's fine. Smart investments build capital and should be rewarded.

The fact that they give a ton of money to charity, whether or not it lowers their rate a couple of percent, is only to their credit.

If he has a problem with the tax rate, he should talk to congress and the president, not the former governor of Massachussetts. He doesn't determine the tax rate.
