She arrived in Chicago on the heels of her Sept. 30 report, “The Longest War.” It examined the Afghanistan conflict and exposed the perils that still confront America, 11 years after 9/11.
Eleven years later, “they” still hate us, now more than ever, Logan told the crowd. The Taliban and al-Qaida have not been vanquished, she added. They’re coming back.
“I chose this subject because, one, I can’t stand, that there is a major lie being propagated . . .” Logan declared in her native South African accent.

While I always thought this women was absolutely beautiful, I thought because of her affiliation with “60 Really Liberal Minutes” that she was a lib. I rarely watch 60 minutes and didn’t know much about her, other than she was attacked and brutally assaulted by the Religion of Peace disciples during the Egyptian Arab Spring. After watching this video I was blown away. She is bright, articulate and fearless as well as being gorgeous. I may actually watch 60 minutes form time to time. I have a new found respect for this remarkable women and I thank you for posting this video. I wish they had shown this on 60 minutes!

It’s been a while since I’ve seen the FR threads about Logan’s rape, but I seem to recall that the posters were not necessarily saying that “she brought in on herself,” but more along the lines of “She should now realize that Arabs are not the all the noble and misunderstood people that her handlers at CBS would have us believe.” Either way, it was a horrifying and inexcusable attack which she didn’t deserve.
Lara discussed the dark committment, long-term goals, and dedication of the Tailban, al Qaeda, Haqqani, and other affiliated networks share. She also mentioned Daniel Pearl. The big question I had from this is: Why, with that realization, would she continue to meet with and protect terrorist sources?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I don’t remember any ripping of the woman after she was brutally raped.
