Petraeus would have known there was no protest.

I think Issa said he had a whistleblower -separate from the ones testifying - that had provided documents.

If not for the whistleblowers - they might have gotten away with the story.

So, since Petraeus was telling them it was a protest then they were safe to call it a protest.

EXCEPT - that Hillary has now come out and said she never thought it was a protest.
So something else must be out there.
