I agree with you. I think its grossly unfair and frankly counter-productive to blame Sesame Workshop for this ad.

If people on FR have a beef with PBS for its programming or even its very existence, then fine...make your point, campaign for change. But its utterly reprehensible to slap them when they actually do the right thing. Surely that is the kind of behavior we should be applauding?

Of course we can't blame Sesame Workshop for the ad. But keep in mind that PBS has been a thinly disguised propaganda arm of the Democrat Party for a long time.

And, I'm betting they are "doing the right thing" because it is politically expedient and want to avoid a PR disaster. I wouldn't give them too many kudos for be morally upright.
