The Romney camp needs to run with this, this could be the Coup De Grace. I think we are right at the tipping point of Obama’s support falling off a cliff. America can tolerate a sleaze and American tolerate an incompetant, but an incompetant sleaze Americans have no patience for. If this story gets traction, Romney surrogates can get a few MSM outlets to run with it and Obama will be in danger of a 1980 style blowout. Its already looking like Bush 1988.
At this point the GOPUSA is essentially the Romney camp, but you’re right, the campaign itself should, perhaps, call for maximum industry standards on web contributions among other things.
