The hard science Nobel Prizes have nearly never been PC, to the best of my recollection.
The “Peace Prize” has become a total joke, with only about 20% of those awarded since 1980 being worthy. The Economics Prize is somewhat tainted with PC-dom, but at least 50% of those are reasonable to this day.
What was it that Gore got his prize for? Literary or something?
