Generations of Valerie Magee's family, from her grandparents to her children, have deepened their roots in the black middle class, finding a pathway to prosperity through college education and the support of family members.

You think? Republicans should be asking minority voters to consider two points 1) Hypocritical Democrats have herded urban minorities into union controlled dysfunctional public schools for the past three generations. They are kept ignorant and docile. Meanwhile urban liberals like Obama , Rahm Emmanuel, Pelosi, and the Kennedy family “choose” private schools for their own. No vouchers for the poor! 2) The Republicans should point out that the liberals situate abortion clinics in minority neighborhoods, then bankroll stooges like Sharpton and Jackson deny the obvious. Let the Democrats defend and celebrate those policies.

Newly released video proves that Mitt doesn't understand Americans.

This Obozo campaign video does not "prove" Mitt doesn't understand Americans. Indeed, there are more than 47% of us out here who think giving cell phones to people who can, but won't, work is a mistake. That kind of crap is pure vote buying...with OUR money. The fact that I'm supporting a 57 year old lady in New Orleans, with her 5 illegitimate children, her 50" HiDef TV in a rent-free apartment and who has worked less than 1 year of her entire life...those are the entitlements that really pi$$ me off...and I don't think I'm alone.

Amen! Democrats have controlled the Senate for all but 9 years since 1950 and the House all but 7 years for the same time period. Last summer a poverty report came out showing there are more people in poverty now, both in absolute and relative terms, than ever before. If Democrats were really trying to lift minorities out of poverty, don’t you think 60 years of failure is enough? Evidently not. It appears poor people are dumb enough to sell their vote for a free cell phone, yet remain in poverty. How damn dumb can you get?

Productive black people (there are many) have an obligation to work against the ghetto culture, and against destructive forces like Obama, Jackson, Sharpton, etc.

I can't fix the black community. I didn't break it. I expect productive black people to strongly push political changes that take away the crutches and the excuses. Unproductive blacks should be given nothing, so that they are forced to cleanup their own culture. I expect productive blacks to lead the way on this and do about 90% of the work.

The fate of blacks in this country is not my problem, not my concern.

Black Americans, by and large, elected to return to the Plantation in the sixties, led there by their own selected leaders who were in service to the racist party of slavery and oppression, for the personal profit of those same black leaders.

Blacks were sold into slavery for a second time by their own tribal kings, and DemoRats bought them with taxpayer money.

It's time to pay the piper.

I don’t know if you went to a public school with a lot of blacks, but I would hardly refer to the ones at my High School as “docile”.

Should have been written “politically docile”. They remain ignorant and never come to understand the real reasons for their situation. The Democrats would really fear the minority enlightenment that would happen with real education. Then they would lash out against their true oppressors. Your point is well taken.

American Blacks=Adrift At Sea by their own voting hand. I call it a self-inflicted wound!!! They are on the “Obama, NAACP & CBC economic slavery plantation. Maybe, just maybe, they will one day assimilate into genral American society. Right now.....and....for the forseeable future, they are going nowhere. Actually... Obama, the NAACP, the CBC, the Democrat Party make their plight, continuing in poverty an absolute. Sad!!!

Here in NJ a lot of the public employees laid off in the last few years were affirmative action tokens (white guys need not apply for those jobs anymore); they thought they had a lifetime ticket on the gravy train and are now unemployed with few marketable job skills in one of the most expensive parts of the country.

Roxie King, 63, lost her job as a cardio echo ultrasound technician in 2010 and has been struggling to keep her Chicago home.

This doesn't smell right. The healthcare industry has been the only consistently good sector of the economy since the Great Recession.

Black actress tweets back after criticism for Romney support She tweeted, “Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. team romney… vote romney,” alongside a patriotic photo of herself posing in a red swimsuit in front of the U.S. flag.

The black actress’s political views prompted a backlash from fans online.

One Twitter user ranted, “You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot.” Another responded, “I guess Clueless star Stacey Dash endorsing Mitt Romney shows that she is indeed clueless.”

Dash responded to her detractors with a simple tweet: “My humble opinion … EVERYONE is entitled to one.”

Dash, who appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight on Tuesday, said she’s concerned about the “state of the country” and wants “the next four years to be different.

Dash also told Morgan that GOP vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan reached out to her and thanked her for her support."

[Aug 28, 2012] Lloyd Marcus: Obama versus Jesus: Black Christians Must Decide "A poll claims that Romney will receive zero percent of the black vote. Well, if the poll proves correct, it means that a vast majority of black voters are ignorant of the truth...or else they're racist.

Black Christians who vote for Obama knowing his crimes against Christianity and biblical principles have chosen to worship the idol of racial loyalty over their discipleship to Jesus Christ. Pure and simple.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."-Exodus20:3

Incredibly, some blacks have completely forsaken their Christianity for Obama. A fellow PK(preacher's kid) said her parents recently changed their stance on same-sex marriage in support of their black president. I find this remarkable.

Though I disagree, I have been sympathetic and understanding with black seniors who have suffered dearly, with hearts still bearing scars of racial injustice.

A year or so ago, I hosted the first Black Conservative Press Conference at the National Press Club in D.C. Several prominent black conservatives from numerous black conservative groups/organizations spoke. My brother brought my 84-year-old black dad from Baltimore. That evening, Dad said, "Everything I heard today is true. But, because of racism I suffered in my youth, I can not turn against Obama."

At that time, I respectfully gave my hero, my preacher dad, a pass. Some may criticize me, saying, Lloyd, either you stand for conservatism or you do not. While you may have a valid point, it is in my DNA to respect my parents. How do you respectfully tell your usually character-driven parent that his decision to support Obama, no matter what, is rooted in racism and a refusal to forgive?

But now that Obama has been exposed as the most anti-Christian president in U.S. history, senior black Christians must no longer be given a pass for supporting this man.

At stake...."

Barack Obama, Pants on Fire "Now we have hard documented evidence that President Obama will go before an audience and lie to their faces.

Remember the video, released the night before last week's debate, from June 5, 2007? The one where Obama alleged to a black audience that the federal government had not waived the Stafford Act requirements for New Orleans after Katrina like they did for New York after 9/11 or for Florida after Hurricane Andrew? The implication was obviously that this was because the federal government doesn't care as much about New Orleans or its "predominantly black" inhabitants.

Thomas Sowell clears up a bit about the president's then, ahem, "confusion" on this matter in his latest piece at Townhall:

"If you want to know what community organizers do, this is it -- rub people's emotions raw to hype their resentments. And this was Barack Obama in his old community organizer role, a role that should have warned those who thought that he was someone who would bring us together, when he was all too well practiced in the arts of polarizing us apart.

Why is the date of this speech important? Because, less than two weeks earlier, on May 24, 2007, the United States Senate had in fact voted 80-14 to waive the Stafford Act requirement for New Orleans, as it had waived that requirement for New York and Florida. More federal money was spent rebuilding New Orleans than was spent in New York after 9/11 and in Florida after hurricane Andrew, combined.

Truth is not a job requirement for a community organizer. Nor can Barack Obama claim that he wasn't present the day of that Senate vote, as he claimed he wasn't there when Jeremiah Wright unleashed his obscene attacks on America from the pulpit of the church that Obama attended for 20 years.

Unlike Jeremiah Wright's church, the U.S. Senate keeps a record of who was there on a given day. The Congressional Record for May 24, 2007 shows Senator Barack Obama present that day and voting on the bill that waived the Stafford Act requirement. Moreover, he was one of just 14 Senators who voted against -- repeat, AGAINST -- the legislation which included the waiver."

Not only was the Stafford Act waived by Congress two weeks before Barack Obama went all Kanye West in this speech in 2007, but Barack Obama voted against the bill that waived it. ........................"

“The healthcare industry has been the only consistently good sector of the economy since the Great Recession.”

Here in northern NJ they’ve imported a lot of foreigners for this work; it is reminiscent of the H1-B hoax in the tech sector. A lot of Asians, Africans, and Filipinos have been brought in to suppress wages/lengthen the work-week (so much so that a friend of mine has complained about newcomers suppressing wages for his Filipino wife who works as a nurse).

"And in many cases, households get a boost because they inherit wealth from parents and grandparents. Blacks for most of history haven't been able to accumulate that type of wealth."

I'm sorry, but most descendants of immigrants have the same problems -- Indians, Jews, Eastern Europeans, Italians etc.
