By Kathleen Haughney, Tallahassee Bureau

TALLAHASSEE - So what may lie ahead for South Florida's most visible woman politician? Four-term U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been talked about as a future House Speaker, a future governor, even a potential member of the Obama administration if it wins re-election.

But, first the 46-year-old Weston resident must get past a determined restaurateur from Davie who is hoping to be the Republican who pierces the Democratic National Committee chair's armor.

Karen Harrington, 48, who lost to Wasserman Schultz in 2010, is hoping this time around that with greater name recognition and more time to raise money, she'll have persuaded most voters in the U.S. House District 23 to prefer her.

"I knew the night I lost, I wanted to run again," Harrington told the Sun Sentinel.

I’d like to meet the guy that bondo’ed her face - I have a few blemishes on my truck that he could smooth out quite nicely!

Side note - How can people vote for someone this stupid FOUR TIMES!???!!!

If a hundred bucks would make a difference a check would have been in the mail yesterday. It’s not the contestants. It’s the GOP. Prove that the race is WINNABLE and I will send it in AFTER the election.

That is how much better a woman can look after a six pack of beer and a couple shots of Jack Daniels.

Debbie is way, way too famous and high-profile now to deal with debating an opponent in a pesky House race.

Think of what you just said. They deserve what they have elected because they are just as stupid. FTR, Karen Harrington is the real deal. Bright, hard working woman who last go around had virtually no help from the GOP. I hope she can do it this time.

22% victory margin in 2010. I’d say Debbie’s winning in a walk.
