Weapons were transferred but not in the way some people speculate. During the unrest, Kaddhafi ordered the Libyan army to fire on Libyans. They refused. Then Kaddhafi ordered his southern mercenary army to carry out the killings of Libyans. About half or more of the army deserted, returning to their provinces to protect their families and taking their weapons along. The army deserters hooked up with the local militias in the provinces, offering the weapons they brought along. The local militias, now reinforced by army deserters and the assorted weaponry, joined together and attacked Kaddhafi’s mercenaries. After that was under control, the militias took out Kaddhafi and his criminal bureaucracy.
As an aside, what the new world order elites saw happen in Libya scared the cr*p out of them. They witnessed an army turn on the crackpot civilian leadership, refuse to follow orders and then hunt down and kill the leadership. The elitists were clamoring for the UN to punish the Libyan army deserters for killing Kaddhafi and his thieving stooges.
We have to remember that our thieving leaders expect to be arrested and turned over to the UN when the people turn against them, not butchered in streets and hanged from lampposts, as happened in Libya. They want the UN to step in so they can be spirited away to live a nice life at some obscure resort and spend all the money they stole.
Thanks for the history... I remember a good deal of that but not all of it. But from what I’ve read since the Benghazi attack, there may have been other weapons funneled into Libya into the rebels or whatever you want to call them, at that time.
Unfortunately the Libya situation is one of those “there are no white hats”. Except that it’s even worse there now.
