For those reading this, you must realize that Carroll County is considered "out in the country" and relatively conservative compared to most of central Maryland. With that said, a coupla things:

1) I live in this county, and this is the first I've heard of the palm-scanning -- it wasn't something in the local media or brought before the populace outside of the schools involved, that I know of.
2) The principal quoted in this article, Darryl Robbins, was the VP at my kids' elementary school up until last year and I LOVED him.... though yes, he was a "public school guy" thru & thru
3) I've never understood why an on-line pre-pay system wasn't instituted.... it would no doubt be cheaper, easier, and most certainly less intrusive than a palm-scan.

If you can do this on defenseless throw away children, used as lab rats, at the mercy of public schools while unbeknownst to the parents, and in a “conservative” county, we have lost both the country and the next generation.

These grinning, friendly, extroverts running schools are usually popular with parents, while turning our children into rote little Marxists.

Will we ever get this reversed?
