One year after the military began allowing gay, lesbian and bisexual service members to openly proclaim their sexuality, some conservative groups continue to call for an end to the change in policy.
But their pleas are falling largely on deaf ears on Capitol Hill, where most lawmakers seem content to focus on other issues.
The Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty (CARL), which represents more than 2,000 chaplains serving the armed forces, said it is cataloging examples of negative consequences that have resulted from the repeal of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. After Congress voted in December 2010 for repeal, White House and Pentagon officials set Sept. 20, 2011, as the official end date of the then-16-year-old policy that prevented homosexuals from serving openly in the military.

-- A chaplain was encouraged by military officials to resign his commission unless he could "get in line with the new policy."
-- A chaplain was threatened with early retirement and then was reassigned to be more "closely supervised" because he had expressed concerns about the policy change.
-- A senior chaplain was stripped of his authority over the chapel under his charge because, in accordance with federal law, he proclaimed the chapel as a "sacred space" where marriage or marriage-like ceremonies would be between one man and one woman.
-- Same-sex ceremonies have been performed at military chapels, including one at Fort Polk, La., a state that constitutionally defines marriage as being between one man and one woman
In Obamugabe’s world, it is “to hell with religious liberty, you will be FORCED to celebrate sodomy.”
Our Associate Paster is a chaplain in the Reserves. He said that he has been ordered not to pray in the name of Jesus, because he might offend someone.
In order to reverse thenew fag Army and go back to DADT we would have to toss out all of the queers that have admitted their sickness.
Can you imagine the screams if we tried that?
No when Obama screwed that pooch it was irreversible.
Much as his Executive Order amnesty and his Obamacare.
Believing we can go back is a dream.Obama stepped in it and we have to wear it on our shoes.
The ‘Progressives’ simply want to rewrite the Bible. It does not reflect their values.
What is religion without doctrine?
Why this is a surprise to anyone is a surprise in itself. The whole point of advancing the gay agenda is to kill not only religious liberty but religion itself. Gays aren’t completely comfortable in any setting where solid standards of conduct are in effect.
Rather than act with accountability, it’s better to just destroy all standards. And yet, look at the results: Now a potential outbreak of meningitis among gay men with HIV. You can bet your a$$ they’re praying for a similar outbreak among straight men just to give them the argument they want that it’s not a gay-related thing.
Could they get around this by saying it was on Federal property and so not subject to the State law?
Mitt Romney was running on homosexualizing the military and ending DADT, almost 20 years ago.
See post 8, Obama was a Johnny come lately to the homosexual agenda.
So cast your vote for Obama then. My point was about the goals of the agenda.
My point was that Romney’s pro-homosexual agenda has always been so radical that even leftists are only recently catching up to him.

So the military is allowing two same sex homosexuals to get "married" in states which do not allow it. And telling chaplains to get lost if they're not on board with the sin of homosexuality. After the muz/commie is out of the WH, next step is to take over the Republican party.
0h, it’s all reversible. History tells us that. But my not long ago retired tagline applies, as well as my current one.
We will have to go through hell to get out of hell.
Was this the Navy Reserve? If so, unfortunately, there are precedents.
If it was the Army Reserve or Air Force Reserve, this needs to be widely publicized and attacked.
Distinctions can be critical, however. There is a big difference between an order not to pray in Jesus’ name and a caution that it may not be a good idea in a mixed audience to do so. Make sure the facts are clear first.
