I have always tended to support cops, but in this case I think the spray was uncalled for. The videos show a calm protest, even after they were sprayed.The cops and uni should be thankful that this wasn’t a different “crowd”. I could imagine riots with fires and whatnot.
I thought the smelly hippies threatened to surround the cops and get violent too?
They probably smelled better after the spray.
What a precedent to set for future miscreants.
