What a pathetic joke. In Canada, federal election campaigns last a total of six weeks, from the time the writ is issued, until ballots are cast. IMHO, U.S. Presidential election campaigns last an insanely long time. Other than political junkies (such as FReepers, and their opposite numbers in the DUmp), who can pay attention for that long?

Even new voter registration in Florida is sharply DOWN among Democrats and sharply up among Republicans. Look at these numbers, according to a Chicago Tribune article.

I agree with you about Florida. The Chicago Tribune was griping about the voter ID restrictions causing the very sharp drop in Dem registrations. I truly believe another major factor is Republican enthusiasm and Democrats unenthused.
I truly don’t believe FL is going to be in the Obama column this year. I notice that Romney-Ryan don’t seem very panicked about it. I think they’ve seen the voter registration figures as well.
