One problem in all this is Americans like to glom onto what they perceive as the “winning” team, regardless of the decency or character of that team. Hopefully something can break up this media-driven rolling snowball.
That’s been my point exactly: glomming!
The slanted polls affect the votes of the undecideds
driving them to the perceived winner.
That’s how it works at the horse races and in elections.
