The speech sounds like his “severe Conservative” speech when trying to convince us he was a conservative. Now, he’s trying to convince the voters that he cares about the 47% he said he couldn’t do anything about so he says his heart hurts for people and says that in different words over and over trying to convince the voters. This is EXCELLENT. Also agree with NRO today that his line of attack on Obama saying he is leading us to bigger government and that is not the right way is better than simply blaming him for the economy.

The former really sets the stage for a decision on the role of government and how best to help the economy while returning to American values. The latter sets the stage for some to still be sympathetic to Obama that “at least he tried” and “hey it was Bush’s fault.”

Even polls that are tied show many blame Bush more for the economy, so I think the new discussion today.....which I hope he keeps through the rest of the campaign.....on how we best govern as America is the best approach because it exposes Obama’s ideology and how he has hampered progress.

Romney could slam him on the oil pipeline, not approving refineries etc.
