A former employee of the CeaseFire violence prevention program was fatally shot today in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side, officials said.

"Marlon had a past, a lot of guys we work with and we hire do have a past," said Hardiman. "He got out of the life style and tried to turn his life around."

A story was posted earlier about how the Rahm Emanuel administration is paying the gun control group a million dollars to push for civilian disarmament in Chicago. This seems to be part of that effort.

“Lifestyle” is a codeword used to be more palatable.

Kind of like “fiance’ of fourteen years” versus “baby daddy”.

Or “Unlicensed Pharmaceutical Salesman” versus “dope dealer”.
