The new line from Obama and the State Department is “the prophet Mohammed.”

He did say Jesus Christ. Isn’t admitting Jesus is the Christ denying that Mohammed is the ‘Prophet’???

Yes and moreso admitting that Jesus Christ is the LORD God is “denying that Mohammed is the ‘Prophet’”

and also denying that Joseph Smith is the ‘prophet’

Jesus Christ is, according to Islam, a prophet whose disciples took out of context and distorted. Muslims do not accept the divinity of Christ nor his atonement for our salvation.
