As you say - your fool boss. But your boss wasn’t just a fool for having no backups, but for believing he coulld survive a “peace process” with the arabs.
It’s not Abbas and authorities that makes the Arabs go insane and kill, it is islam. As Wafa Sultan says. you cannot believe in islam and also be sane. That iinsanity will kick in sooner or later, for a particularly glaring example go out and look for an old headline saying “I have killed my Jew”. Sudden jihad syndrome, a muslim and a Jewish student, best friends over many years. But one fine morning the muslim up and cuts off the Jew’s head.
Actually, just about a couple of months ago I told someone here that we would have to integrate the non-militants one way or another. Now, I doubt very much that muslims *can* be integrated anywhere, in any fashion, and that we’ll have to get rid of them all by mass deportation and international quarantine. A new Iron Curtain.

Yes. The likelihood of a Muslim snapping like that is high. They are difficult people even in the best of times. But Jews and Arabs have been dealing with one another for milenia, long before Islam or even Rome came along, and they were difficult back then, too.
In one telling passage in the Talmud, Elijah the Prophet appeared disguised as an Arab when he saw one man praying in the opposite direction as the rest of the congregation. Roughly translated from the Aramaic: ‘he said, ‘Do you believe in two deities, sir?’ and took out his sword and slew him.” Mad Mo’s great grandaddy was still having a wild time behind a sand dune with his camel. No Islam, but still frenzied, unpredictable behavior was expected of Arabs, giving Elijah his cover to deliver Devine Wrath in this instance.
Islam did not drive Arabs mad. Mad Arabs invented a mad, twisted version of monotheism.
