The advice is valid. However, Romney will not follow through. I don’t believe he has the “conviction” of views to vigorously go on the offensive with Mr. Obama.

Also, as per usually, a “moderate” like Romney is too concerned about reaching the “middle” and won’t “full court press Romney” because he thinks it will be perceived wrong by the mushy middle.

But, but, but, if he was forceful, he might look mean and he wants to be liked by the middle/independents so they will vote for him. He could destroy Republicans, because they were gone after the primary and couldn’t hurt him. He thinks, I believe, that he must appear presidential in these debates, so as many as possible will like him and vote for him. We’ll also find out if he can articulate his “plans” so some of the details stick with people which I believe it has not yet.

Exactly. Like the rest of the Establishment Republicans, Romney thinks the undecided are Democrats-Lite, like he is.
