Soros-funded PAC Started Akin Controversy
Accuracy in Media ^ | September 3, 2012 | Cliff Kincaid

The controversy over Missouri Republican Senate candidate Todd Akin’s abortion comments was started by a George Soros-funded Democratic Party Super-PAC and the “bait” was taken by Republican Party officials who wanted him out of the race for other reasons, says John Putnam, Missouri state coordinator for the national Tea Party Patriots Group.

I don’t................which is worse to misspeak about rape or to state (no misspeaking) you want abortion up until birth........................like Obama does

The right falls for the bait of the left over and over again. The left would be saying move on by now if it was one of their own

I’ve already donated $200. Akin’s best weapon in this campaign is McCaskill, people can stand her. Her whole campaign is based on running away from Obama whom she so actively support.

Allegedly, this has George Soros fingerprints all over it.
We need to bring this to the attention of Conservatives in the U.S. House and Senate.

Has anyone seen any recent polls on this race? The only thing I would love better than Romney beating Obama would be Akin beating McCaskill. I still think that is a possibility.

One of these days this arrogant Nazi collaborator is going to go one step too far and it will be all over for him. I hope he loses all his ill-gotten gains.

Nope. As despicable as Soros is, the fault on this one rests squarely on Akin`s shoulders. Only he blew up his campaign.. no one else.

“the “bait” was taken by Republican Party officials who wanted him out of the race for other reasons”

“For other reasons.” The money quote. Akin refused to go along with Jorge Bush on MediPill (Medicare Part D) and voted against Bush’s TARP bailout. The Republican party boys don’t like Akin because he’s not a “team player” (i.e., willing to vote for Republican big government programs).

If sticking your foot in your mouth is enough to make the party demand your withdrawal, why aren’t the party elites insisting Romney drop out in favor of someone else?

A contrived event, just like I kept saying time and time again!

One thing is for sure, it clearly made visible the divide on the right...especially here on FR.

And silence ensues from almost all those calling for his crucifixion and the money will still be withheld from his campaign as the GOPe is now too embarrassed to admit they they were "had" by the media as it suited their purpose as well.

Eat that crow, Tokyo Rove.

///
what he ACTUALLY said, was clumsy, but accurate.
even old stories from the NY TIMES confirms it.

when PA changed the rules for free abortions for rape victims, to require them to file a police report,
the number applying, fell from 35 to 3.
there are many (up to 40% of total), false rape accusations.
and, many women under stress less than rape,
fail to conceive, or miscarry.
( Akins never said “all”. and he never said “uterus” ).
RYAN was a co-sponsor of the bill to “redefine rape”.
-
bottom line, he is a Tea Party fiscal conservative, who even voted AGAINST TARP !
... our children and grandchildren, are over $50,000 in debt ! Akin is much more than one clumsy remark!
He would be good for the future of our country!

but many GOP elites prefer someone who is in the pocket of lawyers, or even a democrat, instead of Akins?

Unfortunately its opened my eyes to some far more serious moral issues within the conservative movement itself.
