80 million hours needed to tackle Obamacare tax rules

A week after small businesses warned that Obamacare taxes will eat up to half of their profits, a new government report reveals that simply complying with the new tax rules in the health care act will cost American families and businesses nearly 80 million hours--essentially a whole new tax.

**SNIP**

"So, what can be done in 79,229,503 hours? The Empire State building, which took 7 million man-hours to build, could be constructed 11 times. The Curiosity Lander could travel from Earth to Mars 13,048 times. Halley's comet, seen from Earth once every 76 years, could be spotted 119 times."

When you become a felon you cannot own guns. And if the Gov passes laws that
make you a felon no matter what you do, well, they'll just keep making it easier
for the masses to become one anyway. Back door gun grab.

There will be loads of money to make in health care. Not much of it will be for health care providers though. Not much health care happening either.

I recently filled out a form for a security clearance. It said that it would take approximately 1.5 hours to fill out this form. It required every address where I’ve lived for 10 years; also the name address and phone number of somebody who knew me there. It needed my Dad’s naturalization numbers from 1940. My Dad’s papers said that this was done in a Federal Military District Court which no longer exists, but the form would not allow me to advance to the next page until I had put in a zip code. Zip codes came along in the 1960’s so I used one for a court that Google said was in the same city. All in all I spent roughly 8 hours. Yes, if you had all the data and only had to type it in, you could have finished in 1.5 hours.

In the end, businesses will be compelled to adapt a model of "contractors" only in lower level positions, with salaried jobs being reserved for executive level/management.

At least where the law permits, many business are compelled to provide salaried positions.

The lower contractor positions will be outsourced to India or Russia where law permits.

This is already a disaster. One of my friends who voted for Obama (look, he's a great guy, just hasn't learn this lesson yet and I will still stand by him any chance I get) is about to be outsourced and it's directly due to this regimes policies.

It's heartbreaking to see.
