Romney may lead in the popular vote, but he is behind on the electoral college. Need 270 to win. Right now base what I have seen it is possible for Obama to lose the popular vote but win the election thru the electoral college like GWB in 2000.

If you look at the RCP electoral map, Romney needs to win all his solid and leaning states, and pick up from the toss up states FL, NC, VA, OH and any one other. Very doable.

You know those liberal electoral pact “states” that have already agreed to give their electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote may find themselves in an electoral pickle if Mitt wins the popular vote but not the electoral
college.

I still don't see how Romney can lead in popular vote, yet trail in electoral. It should be the other way around. I can't believe voters in Texas and Utah are padding out the popular vote more than the libs and takers in NY, Illinois and California.

If Romney wins the popular vote, he will not lose the Electoral College. No way, no how.
