The 300 blk is catching on and being produced commercially. It was designed to give 7.62x39 ballistics in a round that works well in standard AR-15 magazines, and works as a superior suppressed round as well. It is designed to handle a 220 grain ultra low drag projectile at about 1000 fps for use with suppressors. The reviews show it giving superb accuracy.
I had one of those around 20 years ago except mine looked just like a .20 gauge shotgun with rifle sights.
Mine was chambered for .357 Maximum and it turned out to be a lot better gun than I had expected. It was light and well, handy.
I was not expecting it to be very accurate but it was. I only had 50 .357 Maximum primed cases, tho of course I could always use .357 Magnums if I wanted.
That cartridge was just about ideal for a single shot rifle, it really put out the power in a 20 inch barrel. Darn I wish I had kept it.
Do they offer a complete upper for the AR platform?
I believe there are many available.
Here are a couple for about $330

I have a Handi chambered in .50-90 Sharps; good enough for really big animals especially when loaded with 350 grain .510” hard cast lead bulllets over 50 grains AA5744. Nasty recoil, though.
Thanks. Does the 300 Blk use the same bolt and mags as the 5.56 round?
