They were indoctrinated into a belief system that considered other ethnicities and races to be less human, or sub-human. It helped them to rationalize their atrocities.
The same propensity for genocide exists in Islam, which regards Christians and Jews as lesser beings, and the rest of humanity as worthless.
Similarly, in Darwinian theory, the weak, and even entire races, can be regarded as “less evolved,” or unfit for survival.
Ideas have consequences. Best to oppose them in the academy, before the shooting starts.
With Islam, the shooting has gone on for 1,400 years and I don’t see where “the academy” has done a damn thing to slow it down.
Wrong. Best to oppose them in churches, synagogues, street corners, on-line forums, letters to the editor, with neighbors, friends and family...and in the academy.
