Yes I see that however the article mentioned a relatively small test that affected Hawaii almost 900 miles away. If it’s a larger explosion wouldn’t it affect Israel?

Altitude is the key to how far the effects range. Pop a big one off in space and yes, it will travel really far but set one off a few miles high and it won’t go nearly as far.

“affected”, not destroyed. If every single piece of electronics in hawaii had been destroyed, we would all have been talking about it from that day until today.
