Now, with Obama apparently opening a lead over Romney as the presidential campaign enters its final phase, Romney is trying to diminish one of the president’s greatest attributes.

Statements like these exude an air of ineptitude and outright stupidity.

I could see him extending a sincere compliment to an adversary, but there is virtually nothing about Barry that is likeable.

People will go for the leader who appears strong, not weak Mr. Romney.

We may hate him, but the American public finds him likable.

You sound like a fire breathing zealot moron if you deny reality and play only to your base by claiming that the guy is not friendly or likable.

I am sure the local moron is friendly and likable also - but you don't hire him to teach advanced calculus. While pointing that out you just sound mean (and wrong) if you say he is not only unqualified but also not friendly and likable.

This is just stupid of Romney. I truly do hate this kind of thing. The guy is a cold, mean, contemptible MFer. He exudes all the warmth of a snake. I take that back, snakes are actually quite cuddly in comparison.

Thanks for the reminder. He’s very clean behind those big ears. And he has crisp pleats in his pants! Thrill time! Tingles all over!
