Lebanon is a dangerous place for the Pope right now. I think his people need to give serious thought to cutting his visit short & getting him out of there.

Considering that the first pope got crucified upside down rather than abandon Rome, and this pope's immediate predecessor spent his early career in a communist country tweaking the nose of the KGB, a strong sense of self preservation doesn't appear to be part of the job description.
