I dont think Obama even wants to win.

The next president is going to inherit a mess of unimaginable proportions. If it's Obama, he and the media will blame Bush. If it's Romney, the press will blame him and his policies until the people BEG for Hillary to take his place in 2016.

I’d much rather it was a nominal “Christian” who actually likes America

Has it occurred to you that if Obama loses, he will be able to run again in 2016? I know it seems absurd to think about now, but if the economic collapse is as bad as I think it will be, a 2016 run is not outside the realm of possibility. Remember, the republicans will take all the blame for the collapse, and Obama can ride in on his white horse as a savior again and finish the job of destroying America.
