Luckily for Nixon 1968 & 1972, Reagan 1980, Bush 1988, GWB 2000 & 2004, much of middle America despises the liberal media. I'm optimistic that Romney 2012 will be able to use their undisguised bias against them.
The media depends on advertising.
contact the advertisers and tell them the bad results of sponsoring such bias.
Republicans are the producers so those companies have to ake notice.

GOP candidates of the conservative stripe need to learn from Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, John Kasich, Rick Scott, Nikki Haley, Kelly Ayotte, Haley barbour etc who are all smart politicians and WINNERS.

That’s why I supported Cain and Newt early on. At least they would go after the media and call them out on it. How could the coverage get any worse? At least it might wake up a few folks.
Believe it or not the ignorant, idiotic masses actually understand the concept of liberal media bias. They may not always vote that way, but they DO understand. It's one reason that FOX (token liberals and all) has higher ratings than all the other 'nets combined.

I believe Newt put it right when he said the media was doing everything they can but it just isn’t working. In the end I believe most voters will look around them in horror and vote for Romney because they see that nothing is getting better (or will with The Sultan).

The media has to be dealt with in order to preserve our electoral process. Even though their influence is not what it once was, they have influence, and they are now so far from unbiased that they would need to travel at light speed to get to it within the next 100 years.
There are lots of ways to deal with the media, but it has to be refashioned. This will require neutralizing the celebrity status too many of them have achieved, and by using the natural competition among them to dismantle the anti-conservative collaborations they’ve forged. We absolutely must get a Republican into the White House, and from there I would start with the White House Press corp.
I would make it policy that access to the administration be given on a revolving basis (e.g. a White House press pass could never be used by the same reporter for more than 1 week at a time, without a required 1 month period in between). The reasoning would be that “the administration recognizes the great importance of the press in America, and in the spirit of fairness and equality that many in the press have espoused, we want to give all reporters, even the most junior, a chance to have the same access as their more senior colleagues.”
The main reason MSM players support the left, is because having the left in power increases their importance. It’s really that simple. They may say, and even delude themselves into thinking that they support the left because of shared ‘noble’ ideals, but the exact opposite is true. The left is all about ‘the oligarchy of the enlightened few’, and the MSM elites see themselves as part of that oligarchy. It’s 100% about self-importance and stature. 100%. That is why the best way to turn the press back into the ‘unbiased purveyors of truth’ that they are supposed to be is by neutralizing celebrity and stature in the media. This, is in the very best interest of the media itself, and would restore media credibility.
