Hotair reports how Admiral John Nathman (Retired, U.S. Navy) gave a speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention to honor U.S. Veterans while using a graphic of Soviet-Russian naval warships instead of U.S. Naval warships as the background.

The DNC gives the appearance of "jumping the gun" as is said in the Navy.

Lackies for the DNC putting together props with images they searched the internet for on Bing.

The Navy has a PR department that could have provided something with a phone call or an e-mail.

The problem is nobody in the Obama administration knows anybody in the Navy.

Too Funny! The ships look impressive but they should have checked the flags flying from the stern—Russian Flags!

Haha, this is too funny. I guess nobody in the DNC knows what the US flag looks like.

When its brought to their attention, the DNC will cavil its way out of the public relations faux pas by attempting to claim they were illustrating a foe of the U.S. veterans. Such an argument, howeveer, presents further pitfalls and provocations.

So sad that the American people let the partisan media lead them to elect such incompetent people into positions of leadership.

I’m wondering what kind of response Admiral John Nathman has to offer about the criticism?

I just did a quick Google search to see how long it would take me to find a real cool Picture of US naval ships.

It took me 37 seconds and it is one of a Pacific Fleet Carrier group.

I’d post the pic here but don’t know how.

I wonder how much money that guy is making and how much time he spent on this little project.

They’d have been better off letting Spongebob Squarepants give a speech.

Good point about the PR (CBPO when/where I was at the time)..
After Hurricane Andrew threw us from Homestead to all around the world, I called them up and was able to get a poster (for free, not sure civvies can get it for free though) of one of our HAFB F-16s (in flight). was a beautiful poster..

Maybe they could have called one of their queer buddies that are now allowed in with the men to get one for them :/

Yes, Chicago is union organized right now.

An Alinsky term, should of said... Chicago land , radical community organizer. Never let a crisis go to waste, agitation is used to obtain power.

They will not allow calm and at peace.

from: Rules for Radicals By Saul Alinsky

"The first step in community organization is community disorganization. The disruption of the present organization is the first step toward community organization. Present arrangements must be disorganized if they are to be displace by new patterns.... All change means disorganization of the old and organization of the new."

"An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent... He must create a mechanism that can drain off the underlying guilt for having accepted the previous situation for so long a time. Out of this mechanism, a new community organization arises....

"The job then is getting the people to move, to act, to participate; in short, to develop and harness the necessary power to effectively conflict with the prevailing patterns and change them. When those prominent in the status quo turn and label you an 'agitator' they are completely correct, for that is, in one word, your function—to agitate to the point of conflict."
