Todd Akin has not lost an election in 24 years.
I have not studied demographics of his district in MO. But my best guess is he is in a more conservative district than otherwise. Now it is a statewide race which includes St Louis and all the other liberal areas in MO. Different ball game.
If I was a voter in MO, I would of course vote for this dummy because I look at the big picture. But Akin is playing the blood sport of politics. He is obviously a lousy candidate. He will be irrelevant after Nov 6th.
