Pictures mean little, except to the media. I just think they both tell a bit of a story. I've not seen men react to a tugging dog as in the first pic, that I can recall.
The second one is just pure joy, maybe like a ballerina ...or an effeminate bi-racial community organizer mincing his way down the steps from AF1. 
Then too, there's that throwing arm that I'm sure brought plenty of ridicule in high school...
But like I said and we both agree... pictures mean nothing.
I don’t know if I buy that Obama is actually a raging, flaming homo. But he is so effete and feminized in his demeanor, he may as well be.
