The Arab Spring has made reporters understandably excitable at the first sign of popular discontent in the Arab world, especially in places previously unaffected by the revolutionary wave. And so the Associated Press report out of Hebron yesterday took the step of repeating for readers just how unprecedented the Palestinian anti-government protests were. It began with this sentence: Palestinian demonstrators fed up with high prices and unpaid salaries shuttered shops, halted traffic with burning tires and clashed with riot police in demonstrations across the West Bank on Monday the largest show of popular discontent with the Palestinian Authority in its 18-year existence.(continued)

It could be remembered that when the extremists won the elections against the “moderate” Arafat and and PLO, it was not a vote for extremism. It was a vote against the PLOs corruption. That was an early Arab spring.
There are no Palestinians, there is only the Low Rents of Arabia.
Good sign. You can count on the Palestinians picking the losing side, every time.
Just my opinion but I believe the day is going to come when the people living in this country are going to wish they had never heard the term, “Arab Spring.”
