Ok, so IF these polls that are oversampling Dems are as off as we think (I'm willing to say it's "if"), why? What is the purpose?

I do not think this is primarily to demoralize us or keep us from voting. I think the purpose is far more sinister.

The Dems know Romney will win, and will win big. They are trying already to de-legitimize his administration by setting the stage for people to question whether he won.

I can hear OWS right now: "How did HE win? Obama was up in every poll!!"
