All of the “My guy lost the primary so I must help defeat Romney so then I can say I was right that my guy should have been the nominee” ARE THE LOWEST FORM OF SCUM!

The problem with Romney is that he is a socialist; I cannot and will not vote for a socialist.
He is a statist; I cannot and will not vote for someone I know to be a statist.
I reject the "vote for X because Y is worse" philosophy: if the man is not for the things that are right [justice] then I have no use for him in office and will not vote for him. (ie, it is not enough for someone to be "not for" abortion, they must be against it. It is not enough for someone to be "not for" expanding government, he must be for reducing it. It is not enough for someone to "change the face of politics in DC", he must bring the changes of applying Justice to even the political elite. )

Therefore, I will not vote for Romney.

I completely disagree with you on the Dem Convention. It was a complete disaster for them and may have cost them the election.

Nice theory but it seems doubtful considering every single poll says they got a substantial bounce. Although shenanigans like the vote on God happened, these were not covered by the MSM. And the chance that the wimps in the GOP would ever use anything like that in an ad against the Democrats is nil.

Precisely the result the media has orchestrated.

They don't care if they are caught lying any more.

The Republicans de-moralized themselves when they nominated Romney.

The conservatives-wing of the party de-moralized themselves when they failed to defeat Romney. Some accepted and moved on.

I moved on ... to the Constitution Party.

I understand your position I have been holding my nose and voting for too long only to find the next candidate even more liberal. My vote would be an endorsement of Romney’s actions and policies. I could have supported most any other candidate because they all had some issues I could agree with. I cannot find any with Romney. If he was less liberal I would also vote for him regardless of how many wives he had. The bank robberies I might have think about. LOL

LOL, someone alert FOX News that Rasmussen is a leftist plant out to make the Romney campaign look bad.

I'm not demoralized by the polls at all. But I'm demoralized by conservatives who supposedly think their best strategy for dealing with negative polls is to try and argue that the polls are wrong, rather than to try and convince more voters to switch to Romney's side. Ever stop to think that whether the polls are right or wrong, it can't hurt to spend less time analyzing the polls and more time doing something to help convince more people to vote for Romney?

LOL, I had to quote that, my boss is a die-hard Republican (not a conservative really) and that was a funny line.

no hard feelings any way, we’ve just got to all stay involved, that is the most important thing.

The progs didn’t get us here in one or two or ten elections, no matter what happens in November, it’s going to take a long time to pull our national car out of the ditch.

I left nothing out - you “added in” things I did not leave out in the first place. I specifically said he said he would replace it with his own plan re: pre-existing conditions and the keeping of children on the plan - and I also included the other things he said about the replacement plan in general - which is exactly what he said and you said it over again while quoting my post and said I was being misleading. I’m not seeing what we are arguing about.
