Silver linings:
“Romney actually leads 46-44 with independents”

So it has to be at least D +5 to give Obama that 5 pt edge.

What SHOULD Ohio be?

Romney’s internals have Obama up 8. Romney has given up on PA. VA and FL are still leaning O’Idiot (barely).

Do you work for Politico, or just spout their crap?

Why you shut out Ron Paul activists, your own base I will never know

You are delusional if you think Ron Paul activists are the GOP base. They are not even the Tea Party. This is a BIG misconception. you would never catch Tea Party folks cheering on Paul as he heralded Bradley Manning as a hero and blamed American imperialism for 9/11, as he did in his Tampa "rally".

“Kasich failed at nothing “

I apologize for not being more clear. I did not mean to say Kasich had failed over all. I meant that Kasich had failed to win popular support for his union and pension reforms unlike Scott Walker. I know his approval had slipped into the mid 30% range. Has that changed? What do you see out there that make you confident Romney will win OH?

it they are asking who is more responsibe for osama's death, then the whole poll was tilted...suggestive....

polls are polls...

lets not be discouraged...

sure, we have our own people here on FR who will vote obama back in, they like to be sly about it, but we know who they are...and they indeed are ensuring the re election of that dictator obama...

its early....Romney will pick up steam....he's a better speaker...

I am praying that he suceeds....

Listen to the media, and you will be drove crazy tomorrow about the Kenyan’s BOUNCE, versus no bounce for Romney

Just don't listen. ;)

Look, there's no doubt about the full-court press on in the media - they dare not report the truth about the jobs numbers from Friday, so they had to capitalize on a slender convention bounce for Barry by calling the election over already.

Romney needs to tighten up his message, and I believe he will. As he gets back on the campaign trail (from which he's been absent for a few days) his large ad buys kick in, and Barry's bounce erodes, he'll be in fine shape heading into the debates.

I agree. Should have spent at least some time at the convention reminding people of what an aboslute far left radical BO is and given examples. Should have talked about his going around congress and making up laws as he goes. There was so much. I would have loved to hear Herman Cain. He was ahead until the media made up those stories about him. Where was Newt? It was a love fest without much meat and a great loss to remind people how dangerous BO is to our country.

People are stupid.

We are at depression levels of unemployment. Average income has dropped almost 10% in 3 years whle food and energy prices have “necessarily skyrocket”ed

The MSM and Public schools are powerful enough to get this bum re-elected??
Maybe we are indeed heading for a civil war.

What do you see out there that make you confident Romney will win OH?

44 months of unemployment over 8%

Gasoline that costs nearly $4.00 a gallon

The most left-wing President in history

Obamacare forcing Catholics (like me) to pay for abortions - the most common yard sign in Ohio right now isn't for Romney or Obama: it says, "Protect Religious Freedom"

Coal plants and oil and gas exploration being blocked by the EPA - Ohio is the next energy boom state once Barry is gone

We turned out Ted Strickland and a Democrat House in 2010, and those same voters still live in Ohio

That's just a portion. :) Romney is in a good postion in Ohio, if slightly behind - I think he can close the gap and pull it out.

That actually works in his favor, they know the Democrats will keep extending unemployment and other welfare bennies, the Democrats have them convinced the Republicans will take them away.

Guess alot of people here have forgotten about the Republican wipe-out of 2010. BO won in ‘08 with alot of stupid Republicans voting for him and that ain’t gonna happen this time around. I think many dems will vote for Romney too, including BJ Clinton. These polls are trying to demoralize Romney voters when they actually make us more determined to get to the voting booth to prove them wrong and as a previous poster suggested, it may be time to watch a few reruns of Gunsmoke for a few days.
