Waste of money by Romeny. He has no chance in WI. He has no chance on PA, NH,or MI either. He needs to try and lock down the Bush states of 2000 and 2004. It’s his only slim chance, but I am pretty certain 0bamam locked up Ohio at his convention. They hate Kasich and the Republicans there.

He’s pulled his ads from PA and MI. At this point, trailing coming out of the conventions, I’d say his only shot is to do extraordinarily well in the debates. Reagan turned around his campaign with one debate, but there’s never going to be another Reagan.

I beg to differ. I think Romney has a very good chance in WI, if we can keep voter fraud under control That is a big if, to be sure. Paul Ryan, his running mate, is very popular here. Don’t discount that.

I would agree with you if the ad buy was in CA. I spent 6 weeks in 3 trips this summer in CA (my native state)handling my mother’s affairs and moving her into assisted living. Any ad buy by the Republicans is a waste of money in CA. When will the people wake up?

I was born and raised in the Central Valley and went to college at UC Berkeley. I became a Republican when I discovered there was nobody to vote for on the Dem Primary ballot. I’ve always said that Central Valley Dems were a lot like the Southern US Dems in my youth — rather conservative. But, Bay Area Dems were all Communists.

That’s how I became a Republican. I’ve never looked back. I always say that I voted for Ronald Reagan more times than anyone else in the country: 4 times for Gov (counting the Primaries), and 5 times for President. I proudly supported Reagan in the Primary when he ran against Ford; and when we lived in TX, I supported him over HW Bush and John Connelly in the Primary, much to the consternation of some of the members of our local Republican Women’s Club.

Funny thing about Reagan in CA. Nobody ever would admit that they voted for him, but he always won by a landslide! I hope Romney carries that same magic.

What was Bennett trailing at this point in his recall?

I might believe you if the polls you base these ideas upon were not wildly biased in their sampling techniques which are transparent to anyone who examines their details. Any poll with an accurate population reflective of the real world shows The Disaster losing.

Why do you think the results in 2012 will be any different than 2010? I’ll bet you were bemoaning the upcoming defeat for Republicans in 9/10, too.
