Gee, about six years ago after pressure from the Canadian Islamic Council (of Canada) Canada accused Mark Steyn of "hate speech" when he published "After America," in which he said some of the same things Canada is now saying, and Steyn was prosecuted for his "alarmist" warnings of the danger of world Islamic jihad. Is Canada going to prosecute itself now?

Canada didn’t accuse Steyn of anything.

The federal Canadian Human Rights Commission dismissed the Canadian Islamic Congress’ complaint against Maclean’s in June 2008.
