Akin is toast and if he's out of money, and I can only hope he is, we are FORTUNATE because he might actually do the right thing and step aside for an articulate, commonsense, pro-life conservative who can win. If "conservative Akin-haters force him to abandon his campaign, his successor will most likely be some hack or a tired retread like John Danforth.
