You don’t seem to understand that, even if Akin can win this seat, he has made the job harder for conservative politicians in blue states, because they are now having to take the time to answer their constituents about what Akin has said.

No problem. If Akin gives us a super majority in the Senate why would you be worried about what the other conservative Repubs have to say to justify Akin? The game is over. We won. Akin will be a non issue. The goal of taking the Senate is the ultimate goal besides the Presidency. Take one step at a time. Taking back this country is priority one.

Like it or not, comments like what Akin said do get played across the country and voters do react to what other politicians say across the country. This is political reality. I know for a fact that some Democrat politicians used Akin’s words against their political opponents in other electoral districts.

Wonderful if Akin wins his seat, but what if he costs a couple of close seats, and ultimately Senate majority?
