This was a really poor speech. It was if Obama struck out swinging tonight on three consecutive pitches. He never put the bat on the ball once even to hit a loud foul.

What none of the talking heads are even focusing on is that Barry came across as even more condescending than usual. I think some of his slams at Romney came off as just rude.

One comment that I think will not sit well with any but the Kool Aid drinkers is this “If a company releases toxic pollution into the air your children breathe, well, that’s just the price of progress”

Obama is afloat only because most of the uniformed voters still like him personally. After tonight’s speech I think some people probably like him a lot less. His speech was disrespectful to his opponents, he failed to take responsibility for the lack of progress, and he always tried to push off blame to others. Not a recipe for success.
