Study the passage where Judas Iscariot criticizes Jesus for allowing an expensive bottle of perfume to be poured out on his feet by a penitive prostitute.

“ought not that box had been sold and given to the poor?” Those words as well as the explanation of Judas’ motives were spelled out. If you will note, many “ Christian” social justice advocates use the same type of arguments against the church and other christians. Judas had no care for the poor, but he kept the money box for the group and he liked to steal from it. We also know it was Judas that betrayed Jesus. That’s why I am on record here at FR as declaring Judas Iscariot as being history’s first “Christian”(in name only) social justice advocate!

Do you think I beleive many modern such “advocates” would betray Christ, to advance their own agendas in the name of “christianity”? You betcha! So share this posting with your priest or pastor.

Perhaps not all such groups are evil but we must be wise and use some critical standards when evaluating such groups who are demanding funds and votes for favored candidates from our church churches and fellow believers. Sure some poor soul might get a crust of bread from some ministry but is the “bread of Life”, the Gospel of Jesus actually being promoted...or some poser’s bank accounts?
