CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One day after some Democrats shouted down attempts to re-add language affirming Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and reinsuring mention of God into the party platform, a top Democratic official said that they were booing the way the situation had been handled.

According to officials, Obama himself did push for the platform to be altered behind closed doors. But his wishes were never communicated to delegates on the floor — many of whom booed the changes.

Translation: Had the useful idiots understood that their lordship wanted to reverse his original position, they would have dutifully obeyed his wishes. At least a child's Christmas play is better scripted and performed.
