Gore’s presence is unnecessary. The dire weather threats that have forced the relocation of Obama’s acceptance speech are proof positive that Gore was right all along: man-made global warming has made the weather worse, yada, yada, yada. I feel confident this is exactly how Gore assuages his disappointment at not being begged to deliver a speech this year.

If he loses the election we should fear the flexibility he will have between November 6 and inauguration day. Much damage can be done in 2 1/2 months by someone who will not be accountable for his actions. Consider an executive order declaring amnesty for all illegal immigrants. Would a President Romney reverse such an order even if it is unconstitutional?
