The US government is the largest property owner in the country ~ it's almost Stalinesque it's such a huge percentage of all the wealth.

Using a Newt Gingrich example, there is one site with provable extractable hydrocarbon wealth in excess of $100,000,000,000,000 ~ or 7 Times the current national debt!

I think we will continue to suffer from the travails of hard currency through the end of this century and beyond, particularly if we can tap into nuclear fusion!
