Reid made a visit to Pocatello to support the RAT/LDS candidate for mayor a few years back. I was not amused to see balloons and banners welcoming Reid to town on the LDS building nearest city hall. Puke. Lots of RATS and railroad union types around Pocatello. The area is 93% LDS. I'm careful about my choice of bumper stickers. RATS are given to keying the paint as a means of self expression.

When I was in Mira Mesa, we had standing rules that NO political discussions were to take place inside the LDS church buildings. They don't want any excuse for the government to attempt to remove their tax exempt status as a religious organization. Black (AME) churches get away with it on live TV with tripe like Jesse Jackson yammering from the pulpit. A double standard.

Good point. I live in a state that will go at least 55/45 for Romney and is not being contested. I have yet to see a Romney bumper-sticker but have seen dozens if not hundreds for the 0ccupant / _resident. Your observation explains why.
