I worked in the American Embassy, Tel Aviv prior to rotating to AmConsulate Hong Kong. I have a “feel” for the ambassor’s past and present. James Cunningham was the Consulate General in HK, then went to Tel Aviv as Ambassador and he is now in Iraq. Depending on which Ambassador, e.g., the present since 12-13 August 2012 or JC, you have an Obama appointee, period. If it is James Cunningham that made the comments - understand this man could have been the target of Clint Eastwood’s skit as JC is a political animal beholden to only the likes the of the president he serves in order that he might advance his career under the guise of diplomacy.

It's highly unlikely that Oren or any previous Israeli ambassador would make such a remark. The number one rule for a diplomat in a host country is: “Do no harm.” That would include saying anything that might alienate either political party.

If you watch Wasserman-Schultz in interviews she tends to make things up as she goes. And if she embraces Obama’s ideology she has written Israel off as a nation and a culture.

Right, Michael Oren, who has not only refused to meet with J Street (you know that Debbie) but described them as out of the mainstream, a uniqued problem, has suddenly had an epiphany and realized the GOP is the problem. Unlikely, but the fact of the matter, former US citizen or not, our elections are none of the Ambassador's business. Which I suspect he understands, he's a capable diplomat. I think Debbie is lying.
