'Green Mile' actor Michael Clarke Duncan dead at 54

Michael Clarke Duncan, the hulking, prolific character actor whose dozens of films included an Oscar-nominated performance as a death row inmate in "The Green Mile" and such other box office hits as "Armageddon," "Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda," is dead at age 54.
Clarke died Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack, said his fiancée, Reverend Omarosa Manigault, in a statement released by publicist Joy Fehily.

What a shock here...his recent stroke commercials for the American Heart Association have spooked the hell out of me and here he dies of one. WOW. Such a great, great actor. Damn.

Not that it matters but the article said that he “suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered,” that is a heart attack not a stroke. It also said he became a vegetarian 3 years ago.

The story didn’t say he was a vegan, it said he was a vegetarian, which can be healthy, when done properly.
