Feel lucky, punk? When Republicans chose Tampa as the site for the 2012 national convention, they didnt do it for the weather, obviously. They saw Florida as a key to their hopes of winning the presidential election and hoped to make an impact on voters with their week-long argument for Republican control of the White House. According to a snap poll from Survey USA of 754 registered voters who watched the final night of the convention, they may have switched 10% of the vote with the effort:

99% of those polled said “Get the hell off my lawn!”
That made my day !
I thought it was a great convention. Watched most all of the coverage each night.
This is super news!
It was a little weird - he rambled a bit....but it WORKED!
He didn’t even have to say anything - he could have just stood there and it still would have worked.
It was very brave of him just to stand on the stage at all, and at his age it certainly wasn’t something he had to do.
My heart is just filled with the warm cozies for this man.
I need to put one of the rockers from my front porch along with a Romney Ryan sign in my yard and make me a “Get the hell off my lawn” sign to go with it!!!! LOL
The most dangerous fallout from Eastwood’s speech will be if the gutless no-spines in the Republican establishment start apologizing for it. I fully expect them to start doing that if the Democrats and media keep screaming about this long enough.
Thanks for the post, Perdogg. I read the entire article; very good and very encouraging.
Well, Tampa partly got the convention by default.
There were three finalists to host the convention : Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and Tampa. The liberals would have hyperventilated about Mormons if it were in Salt Lake City, and the liberals would have hyperventilated about Phoenix, because of Arizona’s tough illegal alien law.
So, of the three finalists, Tampa was the only one which the liberals couldn’t hyperventilate about.
I’m repeating this on a lot of threads here this morning, but I’ve been banging the drum for a long time - wishing someone in the stoopid GOP would get the memo.
Ridicule is our most potent weapon.
Especially since it’s basis is the truth.
Doesn’t hurt that it IS actually, you know, FUNNY,
since it IS based on truth
(as opposed to ‘theirs’ - which is based on lies, and is more often than not CRUDE, and definitely UNfunny)
The cherry on top is that narcissists HATE ridicule....that’s even putting it too lightly.
Wanna see Zero unravel?
RIDICULE!
(evidence his response tweet to the chair)
Promise!
It was a little weird - he rambled a bit....but it WORKED!
It was an act, a great parody of this Jimmy Stewart character from the movie “Harvey”:

I hope the Romney campaign gets Eastwood to narrate some ads.
Eastwood = Chick-fil-a = Romney/Ryan landslide victory on November 6, 2012. End of story!!!
Some of the comments there are great!
